Casinos in Strathcona County? Take the survey

In 2001, Strathcona County created a bylaw prohibiting casinos from operating in the County. The bylaw was created in response to a petition received from members of the community.

Gallery@501 focuses on our common humanity in a new exhibition

The public is invited to visit and reflect on a new exhibit at Gallery@501 titled “...bring a folding chair”, on display from October 9 - 30, 2021. This exhibit, inspired by Black History Month, recognizes the significant on-going contributions Black Canadian artists make in Alberta.

Strathcona County is reviewing how to best take action to support the plans and needs of local small and medium businesses. Economic Development and Tourism is conducting a business retention and expansion survey, with random businesses called between October 12 and November 5, 2021.
