Federal Tax Credit Program for public transit passes
Effective July 1, 2006, the Government of Canada offers individuals an income tax credit for transit pass purchases. It is recommended that pass holders keep BOTH their expired passes and sales receipt in order to meet the Canada Revenue Agency requirements for claiming the tax credit. Strathcona County Transit is unable to reprint receipts.
