New weight restriction on Main Street bridge

The weight restriction on Pointe-Aux-Pins Creek bridge on Main Street in Ardrossan has been decreased to 10 tonnes (10,000 kg). See map.

Please use alternate routes.

The new weight restriction protects the stability of the bridge and the safety of all motorists.

Complete bridge replacement is planned for 2025, pending regulatory approvals.
