Residents invited to Centre in the Park Area Redevelopment Plan open house

Residents are invited to provide input on the most recent draft to the Centre in the Park Area Redevelopment Plan (ARP).

Strathcona County is updating the Centre in the Park ARP. Centre in the Park serves as Strathcona County’s urban centre. This plan provides guidance for the redevelopment of properties within the area. A new Centre in the Park zoning district is also being created to provide customized regulations for this unique area.

Provide your input on the draft ARP, proposed zoning and future street design concepts for streets within the boundaries of the Area Redevelopment Plan, including a portion of Sherwood Drive and Granada Boulevard. Together, these documents will guide the area’s future redevelopment.

If you are unable to attend the open house, you can review and share your thoughts and feedback on the ARP through a survey, available October 25, 2019.

The open house is part of Phase 4 of the project. The ARP update began in spring 2018 with engagement opportunities for residents to provide input on vision and principles for Centre in the Park.
