Toys for Tags campaign supporting Strathcona Christmas Bureau

This Christmas season, Strathcona County is offering the public the option to donate toys or gift cards to the Strathcona Christmas Bureau in lieu of paying for parking violations.

From November 1 to 30, drivers who receive parking tickets in Strathcona County (valued at $57) will have the option to purchase a new, unwrapped toy or gift card (valued at $25 or more, receipt required) and bring it to the Strathcona County RCMP detachment instead of paying the $57 parking violation ticket fine.

To ensure Christmas delivery, toys/gift cards must be dropped off at the Strathcona County RCMP detachment (911 Bison Way, Sherwood Park) before December 6, 2019.

Toys and gift cards collected through the Toys for Tags campaign will be donated to the Strathcona Christmas Bureau, who will deliver the items to less fortunate children and families in the Strathcona County area.
