Community invited to Q and A with local Gold Olympic Medallist Kelsey Mitchell

The community is invited to attend an outdoor Q&A with 2020 Tokyo Olympic Gold Medallist Kelsey Mitchell on Saturday, August 14 at 2:30 p.m. at Emerald Hills Regional Park (4501 Emerald Drive, Sherwood Park).

This exciting event will feature local resident Kelsey Mitchell sharing her Olympic experience as well as her journey as an elite athlete. Follow @StrathcoCounty on Instagram for a chance to submit your question to be answered by Kelsey Mitchell. A brief photo opportunity with Kelsey Mitchell will take place following her Q&A session. For the photo opportunity, the public is asked to wear a mask, maintain distancing and stay home if feeling unwell.

This free event takes place during the County’s Outdoor Movie weekend. In addition to the chance to hear from Gold Medal Olympian Kelsey Mitchell on Saturday, the public is invited to enjoy family-friendly cartoons and movies during the day, as well as teen-friendly and adult-friendly movies in the evening (movies playing on August 14 and 15). Food and drinks from the Sherwood Park Elks concession are available onsite as well.
